BACKGROUND
Radley Run Country Club has been providing its surrounding community with the very best in club leisure, recreation, and amenities for over fifty years. This family-oriented private club is a home-away-from-home that retains the quiet ambiance of the pastoral Brandywine Valley in Pennsylvania.
Chambers provided them with master planning as well as financial modeling for the project and implemented the plans by providing architecture, interior design, procurement, and installation services.
OUR APPROACH
Our team evaluated the existing campus, which includes two sections divided by a main road for the community. A new, two-story golf-oriented clubhouse was constructed across the road near the other golf-related facilities to centralize operations and enhance the golf experience for their members. The new golf clubhouse was built into the raised topography of the site and features a new member bar with an indoor/outdoor connection and direct access to a trellis-covered outdoor terrace overlooking the 18th green.
The banquet room in the main clubhouse was also aesthetically enhanced to provide an inviting atmosphere and encourage increased utilization for large member functions.
